LifeGuard has, in addition and at times as a part of the MERT (Medical Emergency Response Team) training program, the ability to offer the Alberta Heart and Stroke Basic Life Support education programs.

 

These include:

• The new Standard First Aid Program

• Heartsaver CPR / AED Provider program

• Heartsaver CPR / AED Provider (C) program

In Alberta, arguably the Heart and Stroke Foundation programs are the standard by which EMS personnel work under. It is for that reason that LifeGuard is dedicated to holding to that standard not only for its own personnel, but for those who it can assist and serve.
